DMGM Lime Green Nail Polish Review

My friends and I went to Dubai Outlet Mall. I love this place because of all the luxury name brand bargains you could find. Everything is 60-90% OFF. I went in V Gallery and bought a fun lime green nail polish by DMGM.

The actual color is TOUCH ME NOT 46.  I put 3 coats to really get a nice finishing. I fell in love with it, it's supper fun. The price is aed 25. Made in EU France.

Aolili store brand nail polish Review

I test out many brands of nail polish. You would think that the expensive brands like Chanel are the best, but sometimes the cheaper brands are just as good.


This is the case with this orange Aolili store brand. The brush is big and easy to use.

 It's stayed on for about 5 days. Not bad at all. I polished my nails with two coats of color. I wash my hands many times a day and usually my nail polishes don't last too long. But this little one survived. I bought if from Jesco, a local grocery store in Dubai. I believed I payed around aed5-10. Which is about $1.50-$2.50. I didn't expect much so was pleasantly surprised.

Ardell Eyelash Adhesive Review

I use fake eyelashes once in awhile. I've tried many different eyelash adhesive before. I'm not in favor of any particular brand. So when I saw this one in the pharmacy I became interested because it said that it's dark. Now, I don't know about you, but I'm tired of white eyelash adhesives because my eyeliner gets damaged and I have to fix the mess from the adhesive. 


I liked that Ardell Eyelash Adhesive because it dries dark. At first the color is kind of gray but then it changes to a dark shade. My eyeliner stayed on and I didn't have to fix my eyeliner. I was thrilled.

This swatch is when I first applied it, on the outside you can already see slight color change.

Overall I'm happy with this adhesive and will buy it again when I need it.

Brown Jewelry Organizer Review

Well today must be my lucky day. I got another gift from a second friend. And no, it's not my birthday. Don't you love getting gifts especially when there is no occasion? I do!

I got a light brown jewelry organizer made of soft suede.  I don't know where she got it from or who made it but I love it. It has flower detail on top. It came in a cute plastic bag. It's just adorable. It has 2 zipper compartments.

 I'll definitely use it when I travel.

Roberto Cavalli Leopard Shirt Review

I'm so excited, my best friend  gave me a present today. What you might ask makes me this happy? A gorgeous silk Roberto Cavalli shirt. It's two tone animal print. Which of course, I looooove. I don't have much detail on it, except that I love everything Roberto Cavalli.

 It's loose fit and elegant. I'm always comfortable when I wear Cavalli. He knows what a woman wants.

 I'm very lucky to have good friends. Thank you my dear F.

Zebra Bracelet Forever 21 Review

I love Forever 21. First of all the name is so encouraging that even a 60  year old woman can be forever 21. Who wouldn't love that?
I like their accessories. I went to Forever 21 in Festival City in Dubai and bought a few jewelry items. I really like this cute seahorse or is it zebra bracelet. It has crystals and it's black and  white. So I guess that makes it a zebra then. lol It's so cute and fun. The price was aed 49.

Penaten Creme Review

Penaten is a German brand but I bought mine from Austria. I really like this cream. It's fantastic for very dry skin. The smell is light and not  bad. I use it on my hands mostly but it's intended for the entire body. We don't have this brand here in the UAE so I use it sparingly. I guess it's advertised for babies, but if it's good enough for a baby it's good enough for me:) The price was about 10 Euro.

Baskin-Robbins Cotton Candy Ice Cream Review

I enjoy having  a sweet once in awhile. When I do have it I want to enjoy it. I buy the best possible sweets out there because I don't want to waste my calories on so-so sweets:) All the ladies out there I'm sure you know what I mean.

I love ice cream, that's my favorite treat. Recently I went to Baskin-Robbins in Spinnes in Dubai. I looked through all the wonderful and colorful ice creams. I couldn't decide. After a few taste tests I chose
Cotton Candy Ice Cream.  When I was little I loved Cotton Candy but I'd never had it in ice cream form.

I fell in love with the first lick. I really did! It was cotton candy but cold. lol The colors are pretty cute and girly. No offence to boys that love cotton candy:) I chose one scoop of ice cream and since I can't eat the container I chose the sugary cone.  I didn't add anything else to it like nuts or sprinkles. I checked on their site the nutrition content, at 8g of fat and 160 calories this colorful ice cream was worth a try. And it was perfect on its own.

I can't wait to treat myself to this treat again. Simply delicious!

Butterfinger Crisp Mini Taste Review

I love butterfingers! In Dubai they don't sell Butterfingers I was missing this candy so much until I saw Butterfinger Crisp Mini in the store.  I had to buy one and try it out. As expected it was delicious. If you love Butterfinger and penutbutter in general, you will love this candy. I thought it'll be different from the original but not by much. It is crispier and has more wafer. I like that it's lighter than the Butterfinger. I'll buy it again when I see it in the supermarket. I believe I paid around aed 2.00 for it. It was individually sold.

OPI Nail Polish Color Review

Recently I went to Mall of Emirates and bought two new colors from OPI. My main purpose is for using them for french manicure however I can use them on their own as well if i choose to.

The white color is called "Alpine Snow". It applies easily. I put two coats and I'm pretty happy with the result. I believe three coats will be even better but I prefer to put two coats maximum.

The 2nd color is called "I'll Take The Cake", delicious name. It's light peachy color. Even with two coats you can hardly see the color. However for french manicure it's perfect. On it's own it's ok but the color will not be too visible. You'll get a light covering.

The cost is aed 34 each. The brush is big enough and easy to apply. The colors are pretty good for french manicure. The white "Alpine Snow" on it's own is great but not "I'll Take The Cake". Overall very happy with these colors.

Salsa Jeans Review

I went to Salsa a few days ago. No, not a restaurant but the jean store. I bought my 1st pair of Salsa jeans! I was in Festival City in Dubai just walking around and saw the store for the first time. I went in not intending to buy anything. However the sales lady was very helpful and asked me, what I was looking for. She showed me one pair of jeans and she said it gives a nice derriere. Since I'm always on the lookout of a good pair of jeans I decided to try them.

I didn't even look at the price tag I just put them on. They fit me like a glove! I must say they are the best pair of jeans that I have tried on in recent months. I decided to buy them right then and there. They are skinny low rise jeans and they give a "push up" effect. If you need some help like me, you would definitly love them. I wasn't blessed in that deparment so when I find a good pair of jeans I get so happy.

I paid aed 515. When I got home I noticed under the top sticker price was another sticker price of
aed 495. I guess it's a popular jean and they increased their price. I hope after this review, they don't increase their price again, otherwise I'll be forced to be on the lookout for another brand:)

One more side note. I found the brand online and the same pair of jeans was 89.90 Euro. About aed 30 less and they ship for FREE in Europe. Whoever is in Europe is so lucky and I feel so jeanlous:)

How Product Reviews Work

I buy new items all the time. Sometimes I love them other times it seems a waste of money. Since I'm located in the UAE it's a bit hard to find local places for product reviews. That's why I decided to blog about it. If you know me, you know that I'm very passionate about what I purchase and will give you my opinion on it.

My reviews include:

Even though most of the time the products I buy from Dubai are fantastic, I will still post if something is not satisfactory. This is just one person's opinion.
